Ace Padel opening ‘luxury padel club’ in former Denver brewery
Elliot Carnello Set to Revolutionize Denver’s Racquet Sports Scene with Ace Padel Club
Elliot Carnello, the co-founder and CEO of Ace Padel, is gearing up to establish a new luxury padel club at 1812 35th St., the former home of Great Divide Brewing Co. in RiNo. The 30-year-old entrepreneur, who hails from Sweden and currently resides in Miami, Florida, is excited about the vibrant and active demographic in Denver that he aims to cater to.
The upcoming space will feature five indoor courts and three outdoor courts spread across 26,000 square feet. Additionally, it will include men’s and women’s locker rooms equipped with saunas and cold plunges, as well as lounges and a restaurant offering light bites, beer, and wine.
While Ace will offer a membership program, walk-ins will also be welcomed. Carnello emphasized that Ace is a luxury club, providing members with exclusive booking privileges and access to various amenities and events. Drawing inspiration from Equinox, Carnello aims to foster a welcoming and community-driven environment at Ace.
Padel, a sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, with walls as part of the game, is set to take center stage at Ace. Carnello, a former tennis player turned professional padel player, highlighted the sport’s dynamic nature and growing popularity in the United States. Ace will not only host tournaments but will also offer clinics and a youth training academy.
Carnello’s vision for Ace extends beyond Denver, with plans for clubs in Miami, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The Denver location, leased from local developer McWhinney, will also involve local investors to engage the community and drive interest in the sport.
As the padel industry in the United States continues to evolve, Carnello remains optimistic about the growth potential and the role Ace can play in shaping the sector. With a focus on quality and amenities, Ace aims to set the standard for padel clubs in the country.
Correction: This story has been updated to reflect that Ace approached McWhinney regarding the Denver deal.
