Alex Murdaugh’s son Buster marries fiancée Brooklyn White in South Carolina wedding

Buster Murdaugh, the son of convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh, has recently tied the knot with his longtime fiancée, Brooklynn White, in a private and luxurious wedding ceremony in South Carolina. The couple exchanged vows at a former hunting estate in Beaufort, within the upscale riverside community of Coosaw Point on Lady’s Island, SC.
The 32-year-old groom looked dashing in a white tuxedo paired with black pants, while his bride, White, looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder white gown with a black bow. The outdoor ceremony took place on the venue’s beautiful sun-drenched lawns, followed by a reception in a tent adorned with vibrant blue and white flowers and green tablecloths.
While the exact cost of the wedding remains unknown, hosting a 50-person wedding at Coosaw Point typically costs around $26,000 for the venue alone. The couple’s guests were treated to a lavish celebration with food and drinks, priced at around $100 per person.
Buster and White had obtained their marriage license in South Carolina in April, as per court records. Following their nuptials, White has taken the Murdaugh last name on social media, solidifying their union.
The newlyweds also set up wedding registries for guests to contribute to their “House Project Fund” and purchase luxurious homeware items. Some of the items on their registry included a Blackstone griddle, a YETI Tundra Hardcooler, a Mahjong game kit, and a Dyson Robot vacuum.
The couple likely met while studying at the University of South Carolina Law School, where White supported Buster through the difficult ordeal of his father’s murder trial. Alex Murdaugh was convicted of the brutal murders of his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul, in 2021 and is currently serving multiple life sentences for the crimes.
White, a Rock Hill native, pursued a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Alabama before attending law school at the University of South Carolina. She now works at a law firm in Hilton Head, showcasing her dedication to her legal career.
Despite the tragic events surrounding Alex Murdaugh’s crimes, Buster and White have found love and happiness in each other, celebrating their union in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by loved ones. Their story serves as a reminder that love can prevail even in the face of adversity.
