Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales Win ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7
The Season 7 finale of “Love Island USA” ended with the public’s final vote crowning Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales as the winners of the reality dating series. They beat out Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, Iris Kendall and Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzales, and Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe to claim the $100,000 cash prize.
The final episode, which aired on July 11, allowed viewers to submit their last vote for their favorite couple. America’s vote ranked Kendall and Garcia-Gonzales in fourth place, Mustafa and Seeley in third, and Carthen and Vansteenberghe as the first runner-up. Ultimately, Espinal and Arenales emerged victorious.
After the winners were announced, the couples were given envelopes containing the cash prize. Arenales had the $100,000 reward in his envelope and chose to split it with Espinal, showing their strong bond and trust in each other.
The season was not without its share of drama and eliminations. Two couples, Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway, and Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene, were voted off the island earlier in the week. Despite the challenges faced throughout the season, “Love Island USA” Season 7 managed to captivate audiences and set new streaming records.
The show returned on June 3 and quickly became one of the most-watched streaming shows on TV. With over 1.2 billion minutes viewed across nine episodes, the season was a hit with fans. From exciting challenges to unexpected twists and turns, viewers were glued to their screens six days a week.
Although some fans expressed disappointment with this season, citing various challenges and controversies, they still tuned in to see the finale and cast their final votes. The season will conclude with a reunion episode scheduled to air on Peacock on Aug. 25, hosted by Madix and Andy Cohen.
