The documentary is helmed by director Brett Ratner, who has faced allegations of sexual misconduct. Melania Trump has described the film as a portrayal of her day-to-day life, including her responsibilities during the transition period to the White House.
Additionally, a three-part docuseries about the first lady is in development, according to Deadline.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has faced criticism for his ties to Trump, raising questions about the film’s high production cost. Critics have questioned the need for a $40 million budget for a documentary.
