Andy Richter Eliminated After 20th Party
The latest episode of “Dancing With the Stars” was truly a celebration of the show’s 20th season. With returning favorites, emotional tributes, and impressive performances, it was a night to remember.
The episode kicked off with a special routine choreographed by Derek Hough and featuring six original professional dancers from Season 1. The nostalgia continued with a touching performance dedicated to performers who have passed away, reminding us to always remember them.
The competition heated up with two rounds of dancing. The first round saw couples performing new styles inspired by past iconic freestyle routines. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson stole the show with a perfect score and a heartfelt routine dedicated to Robert’s late father. Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach also wowed the judges with their Argentine Tango, earning the second perfect score of the night.
Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, as well as Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, also impressed with perfect scores. The second round introduced a twist with the Relay Dance competition, where each celeb was partnered with a former mirrorball winner. Jordan Chiles and Apolo Anton Ohno, Andy Richter and Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Robert and Xochitl Gomez all delivered strong performances, with Robert ultimately winning the judges’ favor.
At the end of the night, Dylan, Robert, and Whitney tied for the top spot on the leaderboard, while Andy found himself at the bottom. After combining the judges’ scores with audience votes, Andy was unfortunately sent home.
