Anti-Israel protesters descend on NYC synagogue, Jewish school while shouting, ‘we support Hamas’

An anti-Israel protest took place outside a synagogue and Jewish school in Queens, New York, where demonstrators were heard chanting “we support Hamas” while waving Palestinian flags. The disturbing incident was captured on video and has sparked outrage within the community.

Assemblyman Sam Berger of Queens expressed his concern over the protesters’ actions, stating that they had to be sequestered to a residential block away from the synagogue and schools they were targeting. The Yeshiva of Central Queens synagogue, located in the Kew Gardens Hill neighborhood, was the focal point of the demonstration.

The protesters, some of whom were seen holding signs that read “Authentic Rabbis always opposed Zionism and the State of Israel,” gathered near the synagogue to voice their support for Hamas, a known terrorist organization with a history of violence against Jews. In response, a small group of pro-Israel counterprotesters stood across the street to show solidarity with the Jewish community.

The presence of the anti-Israel mob has raised concerns among residents, particularly young Jewish families who live in the area. The sight of protesters openly endorsing a terrorist group responsible for the deaths of many Jews is deeply troubling and has left many feeling unsafe in their own neighborhood.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the impact they have on communities around the world. It also highlights the importance of standing up against hate and intolerance, no matter where it may arise. As the community in Queens grapples with the aftermath of the protest, it is crucial for unity and support to prevail in the face of such divisive actions.
