Tragedy struck rural Enderlin, North Dakota, on Friday night as severe weather wreaked havoc across the region, leaving at least three people dead, according to authorities.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of tornado damage to a residence around 11:40 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies were informed by the Enderlin Fire Department that storm chasers had discovered two deceased individuals in the aftermath of the tornado, with a third victim found at another location shortly after.

The area sustained extensive damage, prompting law enforcement and first responders to conduct thorough well-being checks on residents in collaboration with partner agencies. The search and rescue efforts are ongoing as officials continue to assess the situation.
