Authorities Release First Videos, Pics of Potential Subject in Nancy Guthrie Case
The investigation into the abduction of Nancy Guthrie from her Arizona home has taken a significant turn with the release of the first images of a potential suspect. The images, captured by a Nest camera at Nancy’s front door, show a person wearing a ski mask and gloves. One photo reveals a holstered gun on the person’s belt, with Nancy’s blood later found on the front stoop.
The individual in the images also appears to have dark, wiry eyebrows and a prominent mustache. FBI Director Kash Patel noted that the person was seen tampering with the camera on the morning of Nancy’s disappearance. Another photo shows the person with a flashlight in their mouth and wearing a backpack.
This development comes after the deadline to pay an alleged ransom passed, indicating a lack of communication from the abductor. Nancy, 84 years old and the mother of ‘TODAY’ anchor Savannah Guthrie, was taken against her will on February 1st. Savannah and her family have been actively searching for Nancy, appealing to the public for any information that could help locate her.
In a heartfelt video shared by Savannah, she urged anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. Nancy, who requires daily medication due to a pacemaker, is in need of immediate assistance. Anyone with information is urged to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit http://tips.fbi.gov to provide tips anonymously. The Guthrie family remains hopeful for Nancy’s safe return and continues to seek the community’s support in bringing her home.
