Bank robber has struck 3 times in a week; FBI offers $1,000 for info that brings him in

Help the FBI Catch a Serial Bank Robber and Earn a Reward
Looking to earn some extra cash this summer? The FBI has an opportunity for you. All you need to do is assist them in locating and apprehending a serial bank robber who has been active in the Andersonville, Edgewater, and Logan Square neighborhoods. In exchange, the agency is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
The suspect has targeted three banks in the past week, starting with the Fifth Third Bank at 5918 North Broadway. Despite presenting a note to a teller on May 9, he left empty-handed. He then attempted a robbery at U.S. Bank, located at 5340 North Clark, on Wednesday morning, once again leaving without any cash.
However, his third attempt proved successful. On Thursday morning, he successfully robbed the Fifth Third Bank at 2973 North Milwaukee, making off with an undisclosed amount of money. Described as a White male, approximately 5’4” to 5’5” tall with a slight build, the robber fled on foot after each incident and implied he was armed.
If you have any information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts, you can contact the FBI at 312-421-6700 or submit tips online at tips.fbi.gov.
CWBChicago was established in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Over the years, our coverage area has expanded to include Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods. Despite this growth, our mission remains the same: to deliver original public safety reporting with in-depth context and detail that surpasses mainstream media outlets.
