Melanie Rumani, the esteemed global head of acquisitions for BBC Studios and UKTV, passed away on Tuesday after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50.
Rumani joined BBC Studios in 2006 and held various roles in sales and acquisitions before being elevated to the position of global head of acquisitions for both BBC Studios and UKTV in 2020.
