Ben Affleck’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl Ad Taps Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady

Ben Affleck’s latest Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ has taken the internet by storm, serving up more than just coffee and doughnuts. In a surprising twist, the commercial features a star-studded ensemble cast including Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, Ted Danson, Alfonso Ribeiro, Jaleel White, and Jasmine Guy, alongside Affleck and frequent partner Tom Brady. The group acts in a fictional sitcom called “Good Will Dunkin’,” a comedic take on the 1997 drama “Good Will Hunting” that Affleck and Matt Damon starred in and co-wrote.

The commercial is filled with references to the original “Good Will Hunting” script, as well as nods to popular sitcoms like “Friends,” “Cheers,” “A Different World,” “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Seinfeld,” and “Family Matters.” The actors were digitally de-aged for the spot, which was shot on film on a real set, giving it an authentic and nostalgic feel.

Dunkin’ chose to revisit the 1990s TV era in celebration of its first advertisement for iced coffee, which premiered in 1995. To mark the occasion, Dunkin’ is giving away 1.995 million free iced coffees of any size, starting on Monday, Feb. 9. Customers can redeem the offer by using the code GOODWILLDUNKIN in the Dunkin’ app.

In addition to the free coffee offer, Dunkin’ will also be launching a limited collection of vintage apparel inspired by the 1990s, sourced from vintage shops in Boston. Fans can shop for these nostalgic pieces at DunkinRunsOnMerch.com after the commercial airs on Sunday night.

This Dunkin’ ad is just the latest in a series of humorous and star-studded commercials that Ben Affleck has created for the popular coffee and pastry chain since 2023. Previous spots have featured a musical group called the “DunKings” and have included appearances by actors like Jeremy Strong and Casey Affleck. Some ads even featured cameos by Jennifer Lopez, Affleck’s former spouse.

Overall, the Dunkin’ commercial is a fun and entertaining homage to the 1990s TV era, filled with references and familiar faces that are sure to delight fans of both Dunkin’ and classic sitcoms.
