Biden family’s narcissism ‘severely f—–‘ the country, says liberal NYU professor Scott Galloway

NYU professor and liberal podcast host Scott Galloway recently made headlines for criticizing the Biden family, accusing them of “narcissism” that has allegedly harmed the country. Galloway, who co-hosts the “Pivot” podcast with journalist Kara Swisher, argued that former President Biden’s mishandling of the 2024 election will be his lasting legacy.

According to Galloway, Biden’s decision to ensure that Vice President Kamala Harris would be his successor on the campaign trail was a major misstep. He claimed that Harris was not a strong candidate and that Biden’s family’s narcissism played a significant role in damaging the country. Galloway suggested that the Democratic Party should have held a primary following Biden’s withdrawal from the race to select the best possible candidate to challenge then-GOP candidate Donald Trump.

While Galloway commended Harris for her efforts to replace Biden, he noted that she was not a great candidate based on her previous performance in the 2020 election. Galloway also criticized Biden for not dropping out of the race sooner and allowing for an open primary that could have produced a stronger candidate to face Trump.

Criticism of Biden’s handling of the 2024 election has come from within his own party as well. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi suggested that Biden’s delayed exit from the race prevented other candidates from entering the primary. Additionally, former Harris surrogate and DNC fundraiser Lindy Li accused Biden of endorsing Harris immediately after dropping out to prevent a primary challenge.

According to journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, Biden pressured Harris to align closely with his presidential agenda, leading to a lack of independence in her campaign. Galloway argued that Biden’s insistence on Harris running and her subsequent loss will tarnish his legacy.

Ultimately, Galloway believes that Biden’s legacy has been irreparably damaged by his actions surrounding the 2024 election. While some may empathize with Biden, Galloway contends that his mishandling of the election will define how he is remembered in the history books.
