‘Big Bang Theory’ Star’s Partner Exits to Launch Hiro’s Omakase

Jason Hiro Kim, a seasoned producer and former manager, has officially launched his own independent production company, Hiro’s Omakase. This new venture will focus on developing compelling stories from Japan, Korea, and the U.S., leveraging Kim’s extensive experience and network in these markets.

Kim’s background includes over a decade of talent representation at Lovett Management before transitioning to producing in 2020, where he collaborated with Kunal Nayyar on various projects. Notably, he played a key role in overseeing creative development at Good Karma Productions, working on both scripted and unscripted content. As Kim embarks on this new chapter, Good Karma Productions is promoting Logan Kovarick to Vice President to oversee the company’s expanding roster of projects.

Under the Hiro’s Omakase banner, Kim will continue to be involved in select projects, such as the adaptation of “Angel Island: Immigrant Gateway to America” and the upcoming Broadway production of “The Lost Boys.” Additionally, he has investments in various entertainment ventures, including an untitled feature film with Ketchup Entertainment.

Reflecting on his partnership with Nayyar, Kim expressed gratitude for their collaboration over the years and looks forward to continuing to work together in meaningful ways. Nayyar, in turn, commended Kim for his contributions to his career and expressed excitement for his new endeavor, affirming their ongoing collaboration on future projects.
