Billy Joel pleasantly surprised a couple of tourists in New York City when he pulled up next to their pedicab while they were enjoying a ride through the city listening to his famous track, “New York State of Mind.”
The music legend rolled down his window, shook hands with the pedicab driver, and shared a moment with the excited tourists.

The tourists in the pedicab were thrilled to meet Billy Joel and asked him about his recent health struggles, including the cancellation of shows due to a brain disorder diagnosis.
Billy Joel shared a video of the interaction, revealing that despite his health issues, he is doing relatively well. In an interview with Bill Maher on the ‘Club Random’ podcast, Joel mentioned that the brain disorder made him feel like he was constantly on a boat.
