Brazen pair robs NYPD cadet, girlfriend at gunpoint in NYC stick-up: cops, sources
The quiet neighborhood of Chelsea was rocked by a brazen robbery in the early hours of Monday morning. An off-duty NYPD cadet and his girlfriend were victims of a terrifying stick-up by two armed men on West 25th Street near Seventh Avenue.
The young cadet, only 20 years old and enrolled in the NYPD’s internship program for college students, was sitting in his car with his girlfriend when the assailants approached them with guns in hand. The suspects demanded their belongings, threatening them with violence if they didn’t comply.
