Brooklyn penthouse in Denzel Washington’s ‘Highest 2 Lowest’ lists for $15M
Spike Lee’s highly anticipated thriller “Highest 2 Lowest” is making waves with its star-studded cast including Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky. The film showcases the iconic skyline of Brooklyn, with one of its most striking sets being a real penthouse now on the market for $15 million.
Located at Olympia Dumbo, the penthouse occupies the entire 33rd floor of the sail-shaped tower at 30 Front St. Boasting 4,266 square feet of living space, the residence features ceiling heights up to 13 feet and a private terrace spanning 498 square feet. The interiors were dressed by the film’s production, but the breathtaking views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges are genuine, offering a cinematic backdrop without the need for green screen effects.
Upon entering the penthouse through a private elevator landing, guests are greeted by a formal foyer leading to spacious living and dining areas with panoramic skyline views. The residence includes four bedrooms, 3½ baths, a wet bar with Calacatta Vagli Oro marble, a designer kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, and a luxurious primary suite with dual walk-in closets and a spa-like bath.
Olympia Dumbo also offers a wealth of amenities spread across three levels totaling over 38,000 square feet. Residents can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam room, juice bar, fitness studios, a bowling alley, children’s play areas, and a rooftop tennis court – claimed to be the highest in New York City. Private parking is also available for convenience.
John B Gomes of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent for this impressive penthouse, which is currently seeking a discerning buyer. The neighboring penthouse, Penthouse B, also featured in the film, was briefly listed for $17.5 million before being taken off the market.
“Highest 2 Lowest” follows the story of a music mogul portrayed by Denzel Washington who becomes the target of a ransom plot. The film has already garnered a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, promising an intense and gripping cinematic experience for viewers.
