Bryan Cranston recently shared some exciting updates about the highly anticipated reboot of the beloved TV show “Malcolm in the Middle.” In a recent conversation with People, Cranston expressed his joy at returning to the role of Hal, the lovable patriarch of the Wilkerson family.
“Slipping back into that character of Hal for me was so rewarding — I missed him,” Cranston said. “It’s been almost 20 years since we said goodbye. And he’s a sweet, lovable man. He’s a lovable guy, and it was fun to see all my whole family back together. It was great.”
The original “Malcolm in the Middle” aired for 151 episodes across seven seasons from 2000-2006. The show follows the story of Malcolm Wilkerson, a gifted teen who struggles to find his place as the middle child in a chaotic and dysfunctional family.
Fans of the show will be thrilled to know that the reboot will feature the return of original cast members Jane Kaczmarek, Frankie Muniz, Christopher Masterson, and Justin Berfield.
