California dad Chris Davison stabbed going to Halloween fest, saved by kids using dino sticker

A California father is hailing his two young children as heroes after they helped save his life during a violent road-rage attack in Ramona, California. Chris Davison, 38, was driving to a pumpkin patch with his 6-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son when the incident occurred on October 17.

The attack began when a black pickup truck started tailgating Davison’s vehicle on a San Diego County interstate. The driver, later identified as Noah Kane, forced Davison off the road multiple times before stopping and assaulting him with a knife, according to reports from ABC 10News San Diego and FOX5/KUSI.

Despite being stabbed multiple times in front of his children, Davison collapsed on the side of the road. His son attempted to stop the bleeding with a dinosaur sticker and a phone charger cord, while both children used their sweaters to help staunch the bleeding. Davison’s daughter, dressed as a princess, screamed for help out of the car window.

A family friend who was following on a motorcycle arrived shortly after, cleaned blood from Davison’s phone, and called 911. Authorities later arrested Noah Kane in connection with the assault, and Davison was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Davison’s wife described the incident as a “living nightmare” on a GoFundMe page created to support the family. She praised her husband’s survival as a miracle, as none of his major organs were hit despite the severity of his injuries. The family now faces the challenges of trauma therapy, medical follow-ups, and lost income while Davison recovers at home.

The children’s quick thinking and bravery in the face of danger have been commended by many, with Davison calling them heroes for their actions. The family is grateful for the support they have received and are focused on healing from the traumatic experience.
