Serial Butt Sniffer Arrested Again for Creepy Behavior at California Department Store
A notorious butt sniffing perpetrator found himself back behind bars after he was caught allegedly engaging in his disturbing behavior at a Nordstrom Rack in California. Calese Carron Crowder, 36, was apprehended on Tuesday after security cameras captured him crouching near a woman and sniffing her rear end in the women’s section of the Burbank Empire Center department store, as reported by the Burbank Police Department.
According to law enforcement officials, the registered sex offender was seen following the unsuspecting shopper around the store before committing the unsettling act. This is not the first time Crowder has been caught engaging in such behavior.
He was eventually arrested inside a nearby Walmart and is currently on active parole for a series of lewd offenses dating back to 2021. Police responded to the retail chain after receiving reports of a suspicious man lingering around the women’s apparel section.
Repeat Offender
Crowder gained national attention in August 2023 when a viral TikTok video showed him sneaking up behind women at a Burbank Barnes & Noble and sniffing their buttocks. He was also arrested later that month for peeping into a family home in Glendale but was subsequently released.
The career sex offender has a history of indecent exposure, as well as burglary and robbery charges. Crowder now faces charges of intent to commit a crime and is being held on a $100,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 1.
