The rapper, who is dating Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the Patriots’ 16-3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, January 11.

In a post-game Instagram story, Cardi shared a clip of Tyra Banks from America’s Next Top Model asking contestants how many of them were scared, with everyone raising their hand. Over the clip, Cardi added the text “thank you lord” and an animated “Go Pats” sticker to celebrate the win.

She also posted a video of her own reaction to the game, playfully suggesting that the Chargers start their offseason vacation early by heading to Tulum on a Delta flight.

Cardi and Diggs have been together since 2024 and welcomed their first child, a boy, in November. Despite facing allegations of assault and strangulation from his former private chef, Cardi has stood by Diggs, even sharing alleged text messages from the accuser in defense of her partner.

Diggs has denied the allegations through his lawyer, David Meier, stating that they are unsubstantiated and uncorroborated. With Diggs’ arraignment postponed until after the Super Bowl, he remains eligible to play for the Patriots as they continue their playoff run. The team is set to face either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Houston Texans in the Divisional Round on Sunday, January 18.
