Chicago felon Michael Korosa freed from jail after manslaughter charge in Elijah Flores train station death

Korosa was arrested on August 30 and faces additional charges of felony aggravated battery on a transit employee related to the incident. Despite the charges against him, Korosa was released from custody on Monday pending trial. He has a prior felony conviction for assaulting a Walgreens security guard in 2020.

Soria, on the other hand, has not been charged in connection with Flores’ death but was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court in a separate case.
