CMA Awards 2025: The Complete List of Winners

The 59th annual CMA Awards show on Wednesday night was a night filled with surprises and upsets, as newcomers and rising stars took home some of the most coveted prizes in country music. Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Riley Green were the big winners of the night, each scoring three honors.

Langley and Green, who teamed up for the hit song “You Look Like You Love Me,” won single of the year, song of the year, and music video of the year.

In a surprising turn of events, Cody Johnson won for best male vocalist, breaking Chris Stapleton’s long-held reign in that category. The Red Clay Strays also pulled off an upset by winning vocal group of the year, dethroning Old Dominion.

During her acceptance speech, Wilson expressed her gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to host the show. She reminisced about her journey as a young girl picking up a guitar to navigate through life’s changes, much like she did in the last two years.

Langley, who was an early leader with three wins out of her six nominations, expressed her excitement for the success of her hit song “You Look Like You Love Me.” Green echoed her sentiments, emphasizing the power of country music in storytelling.

Other notable winners of the night included Zach Top for best new artist, Brooks & Dunn for vocal duo of the year, and steel guitar player Paul Franklin for musician of the year.

The evening was filled with memorable performances, including Luke Combs and Megan Moroney, who gave the first full performances of the night. Vince Gill was honored with a tribute performance by Brandi Carlile and Patty Loveless, showcasing the timeless beauty of classic country music.
