CNN Data Chief Says Republicans Made This Major ‘Switcheroo’ On Ukraine

The data includes individuals who believe that the United States is providing the right amount or insufficient support to Ukraine. This marks a significant change from February, when 47% of the same group believed that Ukraine was receiving too much support, while 30% disagreed. “It’s rare to see poll numbers like this,” noted Enten. “Despite what some may think based on online discussions, Republicans as a whole no longer hold the belief that we are overly supportive of Ukraine.”

Enten highlighted that 51% of Republicans now support increasing arms and military supplies to Ukraine, a substantial increase from 30% in March. “Both Americans and Republicans are now more aligned with supporting Ukraine than ever before. This represents a major shift from just a few months ago,” emphasized Enten.

The discussion took place just before Trump’s summit with Putin, which was lacking a ceasefire agreement. Putin was greeted with a military flyover and a ride in the presidential limo in Anchorage.
