CNN Doctor Says This Moment Shows Trump ‘Needs to Be Evaluated’
Dr. Jonathan Reiner, former cardiologist to Vice President Dick Cheney, has suggested that President Donald Trump should undergo a new medical evaluation after a concerning moment in the Oval Office.
Reiner, who now works as a medical analyst for CNN, posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Trump closing his eyes for an extended period during the signing of a bill allowing whole milk in school cafeterias.
“The president appears to be struggling with excessive daytime somnolence,” Reiner commented, referring to Trump nodding off at public events recently.
“Repeatedly falling asleep with people around your desk is not normal and should be evaluated,” he added.
Reiner has previously expressed concerns about Trump’s health, including criticizing him for taking higher doses of aspirin than recommended and noting worries about his appearance and behavior during a speech.
“I am genuinely worried about the president’s health,” Reiner stated. “It is concerning to see him in this state.”
