Ben Christman, a talented college football offensive lineman, tragically passed away in his off-campus apartment at the age of 21, just one day before his birthday. The young athlete had recently transferred from Kentucky to UNLV, where he was preparing to play in the upcoming 2025 season.
The cause of Christman’s untimely death was revealed by the Clark County Coroner’s Office to be cardiac arrhythmia and cardiomyopathy, conditions that affect the heart’s rhythm and muscle. This news came as a shock to the football community, as Christman was known for his dedication and leadership both on and off the field.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Christman had a promising career ahead of him. He had attended Ohio State for two seasons before transferring to Kentucky, where he unfortunately sat out the 2023 season due to a knee injury.
