College football star Nathaniel Bernard Jennings shot and killed while visiting Florida hometown for Mother’s Day weekend

Nathaniel Bernard Jennings, a 19-year-old freshman defensive lineman at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, was shot and killed after an argument with Stephan Dieujuste, a 24-year-old former college basketball player. The altercation took place near Neon Rodeo bar in the early hours of the morning.

Dieujuste, who claimed self-defense, was questioned by authorities at the scene and subsequently arrested and charged with manslaughter. He is currently held at the Brevard County Jail Complex.
