Cops Appear To Search Annie Guthrie’s Home Amid Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance
Over the weekend, investigators were spotted searching the home of Annie Guthrie, sister of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, in connection with the disappearance of their mother, Nancy Guthrie.
According to Fox News Digital’s Sarah Rumpf-Whitten, unmarked police vehicles were seen at Annie Guthrie’s home, with white flashes visible from the garage, suggesting investigators were taking photographs.
NewsNation later reported that law enforcement spent several hours at the scene and left with gloves and brown bags.
NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin also posted footage of the visit.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed their presence at the property to JS via email on Monday.
As the Monday deadline set by a possible kidnapper approached, officers returned to Nancy Guthrie’s home in the Tucson area, where she was believed to have been abducted between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
One of the focal points for investigators was a manhole cover, potentially leading to a septic tank. A sheriff’s officer was seen inspecting the area, though the purpose of the search was not disclosed.
Savannah Guthrie, along with her siblings Annie and Camron, issued a plea to the possible kidnapper on Saturday, urging them to return their mother for the family to reunite and find peace.
