Crypto bros in twisted kidnap, torture case hosted wild sex parties with help of alleged madam: sources

The shocking case of a twisted kidnapping involving two crypto enthusiasts has taken a disturbing turn with revelations of wild sex parties allegedly organized by the suspects at a luxurious townhouse in New York City. Sources have disclosed that an unidentified madam assisted in recruiting women from a popular boutique in SoHo to participate in the debauched gatherings at the upscale Prince Street residence.
According to reports, William Duplessie, 32, and John Woeltz, 37, were known to host these parties, where the Italian Bitcoin millionaire, Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, was held captive for three weeks. Footage released by TMZ showed Carturan with the recruited women inside the lavish townhouse, where he was allegedly coerced into engaging in sexual activities with them.
In one video, Carturan is seen being led on a leash by a blonde woman, while another clip shows him reclining on a couch with a man holding a knife nearby. The Italian trader, valued at $30 million, was enticed to come to New York under false pretenses, with the suspects threatening harm to his family if he did not comply with their demands.
Carturan was subjected to brutal torture, including beatings, electric shocks, and being suspended from a staircase five stories high, as the perpetrators sought to obtain his Bitcoin password. The harrowing ordeal only ended when Carturan managed to escape on May 23, after tricking his captors into retrieving his computer password.
Woeltz was apprehended outside the townhouse on the same day Carturan escaped, while Duplessie surrendered a week later after spending time in the Hamptons. A search of the property yielded incriminating evidence, including drugs, weapons, and photos of Carturan with a gun pointed at his head.
The investigation into this heinous crime is ongoing, and it remains unclear if the newly surfaced videos will be used as evidence in the case. The NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have been contacted for further information, but no response has been received thus far. The suspects are currently in custody and are expected to appear in court later this month.
Duplessie’s attorney declined to comment on the matter, while Woeltz’s lawyer has not responded to requests for a statement. The disturbing details of this case continue to shock the public, underscoring the dark underbelly of the crypto world and the dangers associated with it.
