Dem Calls Out Royals Over Ex-Prince’s Epstein Ties

Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, has called for the British royal family to compensate the victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in light of the release of documents related to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew.

Khanna stated to the UK news outlet The I Paper, “The Royal Family should be ashamed and horrified. They should be compensating each of the working class girls who were victims of the Epstein case.”

Following the passing of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was championed by Khanna and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, the Department of Justice has released thousands of files related to Epstein’s case.

Among the released files were emails and photographs that have raised questions about the royal family, including a picture showing Mountbatten-Windsor with women alongside Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

The DOJ has released an email sent to Maxwell in August 2001 from an unidentified sender referencing Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The sender inquired if new inappropriate friends had been found and signed off as “A xxx.”

The BBC connected the email address to another one listed in Epstein’s phone book under the name “Duke of York,” Prince Andrew’s former title. Buckingham Palace announced the stripping of all royal titles from him due to allegations regarding Epstein ties.

Buckingham Palace has yet to respond to Khanna’s proposal for compensation.

Recent revelations from Epstein’s case files seem to corroborate the claims made by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s prominent accusers who accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault when she was a minor. The two parties reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement.
