Diddy Trial Highlights From 19th Day of Testimony

Diddy‘s ex-girlfriend provided more insight into their relationship during the 19th day of witness testimony in his criminal trial. She detailed a violent altercation and recounted Diddy’s reaction upon discovering the publication of the Cassie beating video.

The judge postponed a decision on Diddy’s defense motion for a mistrial. The final ruling is expected on Tuesday morning following the submission of the prosecution’s response. This delay stems from previous testimony regarding an alleged incident involving Diddy holding a friend over a balcony at Cassie’s residence.

“Jane” resumed her testimony, answering questions from prosecutor Maurene Comey. She recounted a violent incident that occurred at her residence.

According to Jane’s testimony, Diddy visited her on June 18, 2024, and an argument ensued regarding a recent trip he took to Utah. Jane confronted Diddy about potentially being accompanied by another woman, leading to a heated exchange where she accused him of inappropriate behavior.

Jane described the altercation escalating into physical violence, with Diddy allegedly pursuing her throughout the house, breaking doors in the process. She managed to flee and hide outside for two hours before returning home, only to face further violence.

During her testimony, Jane recalled being with Diddy at his Miami home on Star Island in May 2024 when the Cassie beating video was first broadcasted on CNN. She mentioned that Diddy consulted with his family and team to draft an apology response.
