Disney Alum Judy Schwab Joins UTA as Chief People Officer

Judy Schwab, a seasoned human resources professional with a wealth of experience at top companies such as Disney and Apple, has recently joined UTA as the chief people officer. In her new role, Schwab will be responsible for cultivating high-performing teams and nurturing a positive company culture.

Prior to joining UTA, Schwab was part of the Venu sports venture involving Warner Bros. Discovery, Fox, and Disney. Despite the venture being dissolved, Schwab’s experience in senior HR roles at Apple, particularly within the services division overseeing Apple TV+, Sports, Video, and Music, has equipped her with valuable skills and insights.

During her time at Disney from 2018 to 2023, Schwab played a key role in the launch of Disney+. This endeavor required extensive recruiting and HR support to rapidly scale up the streaming service on a global level. Additionally, Schwab has a strong background in managing large teams through complex mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.

Schwab’s appointment marks a strategic move by UTA to strengthen its corporate support team under Kramer’s leadership as CEO. This decision underscores the agency’s commitment to investing in top talent and fostering a supportive work environment for its employees.
