Disturbing video shows sicko set homeless woman on fire

A shocking video has surfaced showing a heartless arsonist setting a homeless woman on fire in Sacramento. The footage, captured by a security camera, depicts a car pulling over on a street where a 49-year-old woman was sleeping on April 26. The driver, carrying a canister, then approaches the woman and douses her with a liquid before she ignites into flames.
The victim suffered severe burns to a significant portion of her body, including her face, torso, arms, and back, resulting in her being intubated at a local hospital for over two weeks. It took her some time to recover and be able to speak to investigators, eventually identifying her attacker as Jacqueline Popaibarra, 34, who is not homeless.
It was revealed that the victim and Popaibarra knew each other, though the motive behind the horrific attack remains unclear. Popaibarra also allegedly kicked the burning victim before fleeing the scene. She was already in custody on an unrelated robbery charge when she was identified as the suspect in the arson case.
Popaibarra has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, arson causing great bodily injury, and mayhem. Her bail has been set at $450,000 as she awaits further legal proceedings. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, is now recovering from the traumatic incident that left her with severe burns and in critical condition.
