DoorDash to start delivering products bought at Family Dollar stores

DoorDash Partners with Family Dollar to Expand Delivery Services

DoorDash, known for its food and grocery delivery services, has announced a new partnership with discount chain Family Dollar. This collaboration will allow customers to use the DoorDash app to shop at over 7,000 Family Dollar stores nationwide. The timing of this partnership is crucial as many Americans are facing financial constraints due to rising housing, healthcare, and childcare costs, as well as increased grocery prices.

Through this partnership, consumers can access a wide range of household goods, groceries, and other products from Family Dollar stores. Additionally, customers can benefit from using DashPass, DoorDash’s membership service that offers perks like free delivery on select orders.

Chris Hooks, the president and chief commercial officer of Family Dollar, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Partnering with DoorDash allows us to make shopping easier and more accessible for the millions of families who rely on us every day.”
