Each Other Films Unveils Slate With Folklore Epic, Drag Documentary

Each Other Films, a Taiwan-based production company, is entering a new phase of international production seven years after its establishment. Co-founder and head producer Jacqueline W. Liu and co-founder and CEO Tiffany Yu-Chia Chen have unveiled an exciting lineup of projects that showcase the company’s growth and diversity in storytelling.

One of the standout projects is a documentary about drag performer Pangina Heals, titled “Heals.” This project marks the company’s foray into factual storytelling through a partnership with Thailand’s N8 and World of Wonder, highlighting the cultural connections between Taiwan and Thailand.

On the fiction side, Henry Tsai’s directorial debut, “Spent Bullets,” adapted from short stories by Taiwanese writer Terao Tetsuya, promises to be a multi-city production set in Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, and Taipei. The film has already garnered attention at prestigious film festivals like Golden Horse Film Project Promotion and Taiwan Creative Content Fest 2025.

Fans of the company’s hit franchise, “The Accidental Influencer,” can look forward to a new installment titled “The Accidental Influencer: Love Me If You Dare,” set to premiere on GTV and Netflix in January. This fresh chapter will introduce new cast members and storylines that explore contemporary relationships.

However, the most ambitious project in the lineup is “The Odd Three: Madam Tiger,” helmed by director Joseph Chen-Chieh Hsu. This large-scale adventure reimagines traditional folklore through a modern lens and aims to kickstart a series of character-driven stories across the region.

Reflecting on the company’s growth, Liu expressed her belief in the power of cinema to connect people through authentic storytelling. She is excited to explore new genres, scales, and collaborations in this next phase of production. Chen emphasized the importance of choosing the right stories and partners to propel the company forward, highlighting their commitment to scaling up and contributing to the global shift in Asian storytelling.

Each Other Films’ impressive track record includes box office success with “Little Big Women,” recognition at the Golden Horse Awards, and distribution on platforms like Netflix. Recent projects like “The Accidental Influencer” on HBO Asia and “Dreams in Nightmares” at the Berlin Panorama section continue to showcase the company’s commitment to female perspectives and universal storytelling.

As Each Other Films expands its pipeline and seeks new collaborations, it remains dedicated to its mission of promoting diverse voices and fostering connections across borders. Stay tuned for more exciting projects from this innovative production company.
