Ethereum Continues Outperforming Institutional Capital Flows As Investors Pour $1,040,000,000 Into Crypto Products: CoinShares

Institutional digital asset investment vehicles have seen a significant increase in inflows, totaling over $18 billion in the last twelve weeks, as reported by CoinShares, a crypto asset management firm. The latest Digital Asset Fund Flows Weekly Report by CoinShares reveals that these inflows have propelled assets under management (AuM) to reach new all-time highs.

According to the report, digital asset investment products received inflows of $1.04 billion last week, marking the 12th consecutive week of positive inflows. This brings the total inflows over the past twelve weeks to $18 billion, with total AuM reaching $188 billion. Additionally, trading volumes reached $16.3 billion, consistent with the weekly average for this year.

The United States led the way in terms of inflows, with $1 billion pouring into institutional crypto investment vehicles. Switzerland and Germany also contributed to the inflows with $33.7 million and $38.5 million, respectively. On the other hand, Canada and Brazil experienced outflows of $29.3 million and $9.7 million, respectively.

Bitcoin (BTC) attracted the largest inflows among digital assets, although there was a slight slowdown compared to previous weeks, with inflows totaling $790 million. This moderation in inflows suggests that investors are exercising caution as Bitcoin approaches its all-time high price levels.

Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) continued its streak of eleven consecutive weeks of inflows, adding $226 million in inflows last week alone. This continued outperformance of altcoins highlights a notable shift in investor sentiment towards Ethereum, with weekly inflows averaging 1.6% of AuM, significantly higher than Bitcoin’s 0.8%.

It is evident from the report that institutional interest in digital assets remains strong, with investors diversifying their portfolios and showing a preference for Ethereum over Bitcoin. As the market continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how these trends shape the future of digital asset investment vehicles.
