Ex-GOP aide paid fetish artist to mutilate her, claimed it was an anti-Trump attack: docs
A former New Jersey GOP aide has been arrested and charged with staging a violent attack on herself in a shocking political stunt. Natalie Greene, 26, allegedly paid a fetish artist to mutilate her body, had an accomplice scrawl “Trump Whore” on her stomach, and then falsely claimed she was violently attacked in a nature reserve.
According to federal prosecutors, Greene claimed that three gun-wielding men approached her and a friend on the trail before threatening to shoot her and striking her in the head. She said the attackers hogtied her with black zip ties, held her down while slashing her face and body, and etched political slurs onto her stomach and back.
Two days before the alleged attack, Greene drove to Pennsylvania and paid a body-modification artist $500 to carve gruesome wounds into her face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders with a scalpel. She provided the artist with a design she wanted gouged into her flesh.
On the day of the staged attack, Greene’s accomplice called police, claiming she had been violently assaulted. Officers found Greene in a wooded area, bound with her shirt pulled over her head, with “TRUMP WHORE” and “Van Drew is a racist” scribbled on her body.
Horrific photos in the complaint show Greene with deep, grisly cuts on her body and face. She was taken to a hospital where she and her accomplice gave conflicting accounts of what happened.
Greene, who worked for Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew, was charged with conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes and making false statements to federal law enforcement. She faces up to a decade behind bars if convicted on both charges.
Van Drew’s office stated that Greene is no longer associated with the congressman’s government office and expressed hope that she is receiving the care she needs. Greene joined the congressman’s team part-time in 2022 and later served as his constituent advocate.
She was arraigned in federal court and released on a $200,000 unsecured bond. The shocking incident serves as a reminder of the lengths some individuals may go to for attention or political gain.
