Accused of paying a fetish artist to carve into her skin in a staged anti-Trump attack, Greene’s shocking scars are still visible as she attempts to move on from the ordeal. Greene allegedly paid a body modification artist to slash wounds into her face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders with a scalpel on July 21. Two days later, she claimed that three assailants held her at gunpoint, mutilated her skin, and wrote “Trump Whore” on her stomach at Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve. However, prosecutors believe the entire attack was staged.
During a court hearing, Greene’s lawyer argued for her to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she would be living with a childhood friend. Despite objections from federal prosecutors, the judge approved the request, citing Greene’s need for a fresh start and mental health treatment.
The childhood friend, Kristin Haughton-James, has had her own run-ins with the law, including arrests for cocaine possession and riding an unlicensed vehicle in the streets. Despite these red flags, Haughton-James has agreed to supervise Greene and ensure she follows the court-mandated requirements.
Greene, who previously worked for Rep. Jeff Van Drew and attended Rutgers Law School, faces serious charges of conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes. If convicted, she could face up to ten years in prison and a hefty fine.
