Ex-Pentagon Spokesperson Drops ‘Bombshell’ Warning About Pete Hegseth

John Ullyot, the former chief Pentagon spokesperson who recently resigned, has made a bold prediction that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is on the verge of losing his job as well.
Ullyot has also issued a warning that there are more damaging revelations about Hegseth and the Defense Department that are set to be exposed soon.
“It’s been a tumultuous month at the Pentagon,” Ullyot, a longtime figure in President Donald Trump’s inner circle, expressed in an opinion piece for Politico. “From leaked sensitive operational plans to widespread terminations, the dysfunction has become a major distraction for the president – who expects better from his top officials.”
Hegseth has come under scrutiny following reports that he repeatedly shared highly confidential information through unofficial channels, particularly on the Signal messaging app.
Just last month, it was revealed that national security adviser Michael Waltz inadvertently added a journalist to a Signal group chat with other high-ranking officials, including Hegseth, who divulged details about military operations in Yemen, among other sensitive matters.
According to The New York Times, Hegseth engaged in a second, more personal Signal conversation in which he exchanged sensitive information with his wife, brother, and others.
He reportedly allowed his wife to sit in on confidential meetings with foreign dignitaries and allegedly planned to brief Elon Musk on military strategies in the event of a conflict with China. When President Trump learned of this, he canceled the briefing.
In recent days, three senior officials were dismissed from the Defense Department amid an inquiry into leaks.
Ullyot described it as a “peculiar and puzzling purge” that has resulted in “a near breakdown in the Pentagon’s upper echelons.”
“Under Hegseth’s guidance, the organization is in disarray,” Ullyot remarked, labeling the past weeks as a period of “complete chaos” and the “worst month ever.” While acknowledging his support for Hegseth, Ullyot acknowledged that the Pentagon is undergoing a “full-blown crisis.”
“President Donald Trump has a reputation for holding his top officials accountable,” he noted. “Given this, it’s difficult to envision Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth retaining his position for much longer.”
Ullyot also cautioned that there are more revelations on the horizon.
