Fantasy football: These high-ceiling receivers are options for owners

Injuries and delays have plagued fantasy football managers, forcing them to scour the waiver wire in search of hidden gems to navigate through the remaining bye weeks and secure playoff positions. Last week, Michael Wilson stepped up for the Arizona Cardinals in place of Marvin Harrison Jr., delivering an impressive performance with 15 receptions for 185 yards. With Harrison out for Week 12, Wilson is a must-add for fantasy managers, especially with a favorable matchup against the Jaguars.

If Wilson is already taken in your league, look to Cincinnati for Andrei Iosivas. With Ja’Marr Chase suspended, Iosivas has the opportunity to shine as the third receiver for the Bengals. He has shown promise in previous games when given the chance and could see increased targets this week against the Patriots.

Another rising star to consider is Luther Burden III of the Chicago Bears. The rookie has seen an uptick in snaps and targets in recent weeks, outperforming Olamide Zaccheaus. Burden could be in for a breakout game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who struggle against opposing WR3s.

While digging deep for wide receiver help on the waiver wire can be risky, Wilson, Iosivas, and Burden have proven themselves as reliable assets with high ceilings. This week, it’s all about reaching for the ceiling without the fear of the floor being lava.
