‘Finding Her Edge’ Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix
Young adult romance fans have something to look forward to as the popular series “Finding Her Edge” has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. The show, based on Jennifer Iacopelli’s novel of the same name, revolves around the Russo sisters, who are heirs to a struggling figure skating dynasty. The story follows seventeen-year-old Adriana as she trains for the World Championships with her new partner Brayden, all while dealing with lingering feelings for her first love and former partner, Freddie. To complicate matters, Adriana and Brayden must pretend to be a couple off the ice in order to secure a sponsorship and save the financially struggling Russo rink.
The first season of “Finding Her Edge” premiered on Jan. 22 and has already garnered over 12 million views. The series has been a hit, with the December 2025 paperback edition of the novel selling 500% more copies than the original hardcover, thanks in part to a Netflix burst.
The show is helmed by showrunner Jeff Norton and head writer Shelley Scarrow, with writers Sabrina Sherif and Jacqueline Pepall contributing to the script. Directors Pepall and Shamim Sarif bring the story to life on screen. Executive producers include Norton, Stephanie Betts, and Angela Boudreault for WildBrain.
Norton expressed his excitement about continuing the characters’ journeys in Season 2, promising fans more drama on and off the ice. Meanwhile, author Jennifer Iacopelli shared her joy at seeing her book come to life and the positive reception from viewers worldwide. She is thrilled to see the story of Adriana, Brayden, Freddie, and the rest of Team Russo continue in a second season.
Fans of the show can look forward to more love triangles, both romantic and familial, as the characters navigate the challenges of their lives and sport. With the support of Netflix and WildBrain, “Finding Her Edge” promises to deliver even more drama and excitement in its upcoming season.
