Fox, Bento Box Promote Dana Tafoya-Cameron, Hire Michelle Huynh

Fox Entertainment Studios has recently made some exciting changes to its leadership team. Dana Tafoya-Cameron has been promoted to head of Bento Box Entertainment and Animation, while Michelle Huynh, a former Netflix executive, has joined FES as the head of studio content operations.

Both Tafoya-Cameron and Huynh will be reporting directly to Fox Entertainment Studios president Fernando Szew. They will be joining Szew’s senior management team, which also includes Allison Wallach as head of unscripted entertainment and Hannah Pillemer as head of scripted entertainment.

Tafoya-Cameron, who was previously the head of production at Bento Box, has overseen popular animated series such as “Krapopolis,” “Grimsburg,” and “Universal Basic Guys,” as well as fan-favorites like “Bob’s Burgers” and “The Great North.” She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Film Roman, Activision, Fox Family, Saban Entertainment, and Marvel.

On the other hand, Huynh comes to Fox Entertainment Studios from Netflix, where she held the position of global head of systems, workflows, and technology. Prior to her time at Netflix, she worked in senior roles at NBCUniversal and Marvel Entertainment.

President Fernando Szew expressed his confidence in the new additions to the leadership team, stating, “These two proven leaders make our strong leadership team even stronger. With a world-class senior team now in place, we’ll leverage the power of Fox to continue building a modern content studio, where bold storytelling and innovative production come together to shape what’s next in entertainment.”

Szew also acknowledged the departure of Brett Coker, the former head of Bento Box, who announced his retirement earlier this year. He commended Coker for his contributions to the studio and expressed his confidence in Tafoya-Cameron’s ability to continue growing Bento Box as a hub for creator-driven content and innovation in the animation space.

The changes in leadership at Fox Entertainment Studios are sure to bring new energy and creativity to the company’s content production. With Tafoya-Cameron and Huynh at the helm, the studio is poised to continue delivering high-quality, innovative entertainment to audiences worldwide.
