A New King Soopers Marketplace Opens in Frederick, Colorado

A new King Soopers Marketplace has recently opened its doors in Frederick, a rapidly growing community located just north of Denver. This new store serves as the anchor for the 35-acre Silverstone Marketplace shopping center.

Spanning approximately 123,000 square feet, the new King Soopers features a variety of amenities including a French Bakery, an apparel section, a fuel station, and a drive-thru pharmacy. This marks the first King Soopers location in the Town of Frederick.

Jessica Trowbridge, corporate affairs manager at King Soopers, expressed gratitude for the partnership with Evergreen Devco and the Town of Frederick in bringing this new community store to life.

“We are excited to provide our neighbors with a place where they can find fresh, affordable, and delicious food, along with the exceptional service that sets us apart. It is a privilege to be part of this community, and we are dedicated to serving the Town of Frederick with care and commitment,” Trowbridge stated.

Developed by Phoenix-based Evergreen Devco Inc., the Silverstone Marketplace also includes nearly 20,000 square feet of recently completed retail space across two new multi-tenant buildings. Tenants such as Wingstop, Club Pilates, and Domino’s Pizza will soon call this shopping center home.

Max Daffron, economic development manager for the Town of Frederick, highlighted the importance of Silverstone Marketplace in meeting the community’s needs for expanded grocery, retail, dining, and service options.

“This development aligns perfectly with our growth strategy outlined in the Town’s strategic plan and will serve as a central hub for residents to shop, dine, and access essential services without traveling outside our community,” Daffron explained.

The retail space is currently 93% leased, with tenants beginning work on the interior part of the stores. Only one suite is still available for lease.

Additional pad tenants such as Chase Bank, Wendy’s, and Valvoline are in the planning stages with the Town of Frederick, with anticipated openings in early 2026. Limited pad sites are still available for development.
