‘Frieren’ Season 2 Trailer Drops, Sets January 2026 Release Date
Crunchyroll made a big splash at Anime Expo on July 4 by surprising fans with the first trailer for “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” Season 2. The streaming platform also announced that it had acquired worldwide streaming rights for the highly-anticipated second season, set to premiere in January 2026. The reveal took place during a panel at downtown LA’s Peacock Theater, where attendees were treated to a sneak peek of the fantasy series.

Concept art will be handled by Seiko Yoshioka, while Evan Call will return to compose the music. The series, based on the ongoing manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, is produced by Madhouse, known for their work on popular anime like “Death Note” and “One-Punch Man.”
