The Evoke Super Series 2025, Ireland’s premier domestic 50-over competition, kicked off on May 4 with three teams participating: Scorchers Women, Typhoons Women, and Dragons Women. The teams are led by Christina Coulter Reilly, Jane Maguire, and Amy Hunter, respectively.
Even though the tournament consists of only nine games, it will span over seven weeks, with matches being held at Oak Hill Cricket Club in Wicklow, The Lawn in Waringstown, and Wallace Park in Lisburn.
In the previous edition of the tournament, Scorchers emerged as champions under the captaincy of Leah Paul. However, Paul will now lead the Typhoons this year. Orla Prendergast and Alice Tector were standout performers for Scorchers last season, with Prendergast scoring 394 runs and Tector taking 13 wickets.
Each team will face off against the other two teams thrice, with the team finishing at the top of the table being crowned as the tournament winner.
