Gavin Newsom Reveals Trump Team’s Trolling Gifts To Him And The Dark Message Behind Them

California Governor Gavin Newsom stirred the pot on Wednesday by suggesting that President Donald Trump is already planning an unconstitutional stay in office, and even claimed to have the MAGA merchandise to back it up.

During a conversation with Politico’s Christopher Cadelago at the outlet’s summit, Newsom argued that Trump is not interested in another presidential election, pointing to the “two dozen ‘Trump 2028’ hats his team keeps sending me” as proof.

When pressed by Cadelago about Trump’s potential run in 2028, despite the Constitutional limitations, Newsom humorously remarked, “Who spends $200 million on a ballroom at their home and then leaves the house?”

The audience chuckled at the comment, but Newsom quickly reminded everyone that the situation is serious.

As Cadelago hinted at a possible “Newsom-Trump ’28” matchup, Newsom shot back, “No, this guy doesn’t respect free and fair elections. He tried to dismantle this country. Remember January 6th?”

Newsom accused Trump of trying to undermine democracy and emphasized that he is now doing it openly.
