George Kittle opens up on bizarre NFL training method with sex life side effect

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle recently made headlines for sharing some unexpected details about his recovery treatment during a podcast appearance. Kittle revealed that he uses a Vasper machine to aid in his recovery, but also mentioned the surprising side effect it has on his testosterone levels.

The Vasper System is a unique recovery bike that incorporates blood flow restriction (BFR), compression technology, liquid cooling, and interval training to simulate high-intensity exercise without the usual stress and strain on the body. Kittle explained that he incorporates a 20-minute Vasper session four days a week after his workouts and has experienced improved sleep and vivid dreams as a result.

However, what caught everyone’s attention was Kittle’s candid admission about the machine’s impact on his testosterone levels. He bluntly stated that one of the main selling points for players was that it leads to increased testosterone levels and, in his words, “you blow huge loads.” This unexpected revelation sparked a mix of reactions among fans and listeners.

Despite the eyebrow-raising comment, Kittle emphasized the overall benefits he has experienced from using the Vasper machine. He mentioned that he initially doubted the machine’s effectiveness but changed his mind after witnessing several coaches, including his offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, using it regularly.

On a personal note, Kittle expressed how taking a rare postseason break in 2024 had allowed him to recharge both mentally and physically. He noted that the time off had put him “lightyears ahead” compared to the previous year, setting him up for a strong start to the upcoming season.

The star tight end recently signed a lucrative contract extension with the 49ers, solidifying his future with the team through 2029. Kittle’s impressive performance in the 2024 season, where he recorded 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns, further cemented his status as one of the top tight ends in the NFL.

As the 49ers gear up for the new season, with veterans reporting to training camp in July, all eyes will be on Kittle and his teammates as they aim to make a strong comeback after missing the playoffs in the previous season. The team’s season opener against the Seahawks in September promises to be an exciting start to what hopes to be a successful season for the San Francisco 49ers.
