Georgia teen Sarah Grace Patrick accused of killing mom, stepdad posted TikTok videos for sympathy, asked true crime influencer to cover parents’ murder
A Georgia teenager, Sarah Grace Patrick, has been accused of murdering her sleeping parents in their Tyus home. The 17-year-old posted chilling TikTok videos mourning the deaths of her mother, Kristen Brock, and stepfather, James Brock, and asking for sympathy and prayers for healing. In one video, she expressed her deep grief and longing to go home, while in another, she lamented the fact that her parents would miss out on important milestones in her life.
The teen’s TikTok account, @sgrace04282, has since been removed, but not before she caught the attention of a true crime influencer, @AllegedlyReportedly. Patrick allegedly reached out to the influencer to cover her parents’ murders, leading to a series of messages between the two. The influencer expressed shock at the teen’s request and later sympathized with her situation.
In another surprising turn of events, Patrick also contacted a family friend of her stepfather, Kellie Brown, to speak on her behalf in a TikTok video about the murders. Brown shared that Patrick claimed to have heard her stepfather’s heart machine alarm going off throughout the night of the murders, suggesting that she did not hear anything unusual otherwise.
The tragic incident came to light when the couple’s 5-year-old daughter discovered their bodies in bed and Patrick called 911 to report the murders. She has since been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault and will be tried as an adult. Investigators are still working to uncover a motive for the killings and have not ruled out the possibility of more arrests in the case.
Despite the charges against her, Patrick’s future remains uncertain as she faces the possibility of life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about the case to come forward, emphasizing that even the smallest detail could be crucial in solving the case.
