Haley Joel Osment Plays a Serial Killer

Netflix unveiled a sneak peek of what’s in store for Wednesday Addams in the upcoming season of “Wednesday” at the Tudum fan event. The clip released showcases the first six minutes of Season 2, introducing a new antagonist played by Haley Joel Osment, known as the Kansas City Scalper.

In the clip, Wednesday, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, finds herself in a chilling situation as she is held captive in the basement of the serial killer. Surrounded by eerie dolls, she narrates her encounter with the Kansas City Scalper, whom she spent her summer hunting down. The tension escalates as the killer reveals a doll resembling Wednesday, showcasing his disturbing handiwork. Using her psychic abilities, Wednesday manages to break free and confront her captor in a thrilling showdown.

Returning for Season 2 are familiar faces such as Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Jamie McShane, and Fred Armisen. Joining the cast as series regulars are Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. Additionally, guest stars including Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo will make appearances. The highly anticipated addition to the ensemble is Lady Gaga, who portrays Rosaline Rotwood, a renowned Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.

“Wednesday” made waves upon its debut in November 2022, quickly becoming Netflix’s most-watched TV season to date. The upcoming season is set to premiere in two parts, with Part 1 launching on August 6 and Part 2 following on September 3.
