Harry Styles Crashes Ryan Gosling’s “SNL” Monologue
Ryan Gosling took the stage as the host of “Saturday Night Live” for the fourth time, showcasing his comedic chops ahead of the release of his upcoming sci-fi film “Project Hail Mary.”
As Gosling began his monologue, he was caught off guard by a surprise guest in the audience – none other than Harry Styles, who was casually dressed and smiling. Gosling jokingly exclaimed, “What are you doing here, man? I just wish someone would have told me!”
The actor went on to talk about his upcoming movie “Project Hail Mary,” describing it as a blend of “E.T.” and “Interstellar,” two iconic films. However, he couldn’t help but notice the camera repeatedly cutting to Styles in the audience, prompting him to ask, “I’m sorry, why are we on Harry Styles?”
In a hilarious turn of events, Gosling was joined on stage by the “SNL” cast members dressed as aliens, as he sang Styles’ hit song “Sign of the Times” before transitioning into a rendition of “I’m Just Ken” from “Barbie.”
Styles will be taking over hosting duties and serving as the musical guest on the next episode of “SNL.” Gosling expressed his gratitude to the cast members for their support, only to be playfully told by Kenan Thompson that they were actually there to get a better look at Styles.
This marks Gosling’s fourth time hosting “Saturday Night Live,” with previous appearances in 2015, 2017, and 2024. In one memorable moment from his last hosting gig, he couldn’t contain his laughter during a Beavis and Butt-Head sketch.
“Project Hail Mary,” set to premiere on March 20, features Gosling alongside Sandra Huller. Fans can catch a glimpse of Gosling’s monologue on the show’s official website.
Overall, Gosling’s latest appearance on “SNL” was a blend of humor, music, and surprise guests, setting the stage for what promises to be an entertaining episode with Harry Styles at the helm.
