Heated Rivalry’s Connor Storrie, Hudson Williams Reunite
Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, known for their roles as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander in the hit series “Heated Rivalry,” made a special appearance on “Saturday Night Live” on Feb. 28. The duo showcased their chemistry once again in a hilarious sketch filmed outside the iconic Rink at Rockefeller Center.
In the sketch, Storrie portrayed a guy enjoying a bachelor party with his friends, including Mikey Day and Ben Marshall, while ice skating and having a great time. Meanwhile, another couple, played by Tommy Brennan and Veronika Slowikowska, engaged in a heated argument after she rejected his marriage proposal. As the drama unfolded, Brennan couldn’t resist joining Storrie and his friends on the ice.
Midway through the sketch, Hudson Williams made a grand entrance on the ice, much to Storrie’s excitement. His character added a comedic touch to the scene by asking a quirky question about skating technique, leading to more laughter and fun on the rink. The group even formed a four-person train, with Williams expressing how much he enjoyed the experience.
Towards the end of the sketch, Brennan ditched his now-ex partner to celebrate with the group of guys he had just met, adding a humorous twist to the storyline. Later in the show, Williams returned to introduce the musical guest, Mumford and Sons, alongside Storrie, showcasing their versatility as entertainers.
“Heated Rivalry,” a steamy hockey drama based on Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” book series, has garnered a massive following since its debut on HBO Max. The show has not only entertained audiences but also shed light on the world of hockey, captivating viewers with its gripping storyline and dynamic characters.
As the first season of “Heated Rivalry” continues to be a success, fans can look forward to the upcoming second season, set to begin production in August with an expected release date of April 2027.
